About the event

Medical Herbalist Jude Greenan, who has over 20 years of experience and knowledge of working alongside medicinal plants, will be hosting this session.

On arrival, you will be welcomed into our working apothecary, the Herbal Hub, where there will be tea and refreshments. After settling in and introductions, we will take a short walk around the beautiful grounds of Vallis Farm to identify some of the many medicinal plants being grown. We will be harvesting from the newly established Physic Garden.

There will be time for a short comfort break, with time to refill your mug and partake in a nibble, before we begin to process our bounty.

We will be focusing in on one or two seasonal herbs and their interaction with people, and learning the skills of basic tincture making as well exploring glycerites, as an alcohol free alternative.

Please bring your selves and your curiousity, a pen…
